Bitchpop at its finest. 22 year old Emma Mae writes songs about boys in bands for people with a grudge. Based in London and studying a Master’s in music, she has plenty of material and buckets of promise.
Emma is Leicester-born and bitter, and her pop-centric songs are a reflection of that, providing an outlet for her feelings and her humour. She’s unafraid to be bold, honest and authentic, and believes no songwriter should ever mince their words. Emma exploded onto the scene with debut single ‘Fuckboy’ in 2019, and has followed with a string of locally successful tracks like ‘Boys in Bands’ and ‘Hollywood.’
