North London’s English Electric have taken their vintage brand of noisy indie guitar pop to most of the capital’s rock’n’roll venues – appearing on Steve Lamacq’s BBC 6Music show, and releasing a cracking 7″ single along the way.

Expect loud guitars, melodic bass, a heavy backbeat, and songs reminiscent of Interpol, The Jam & The Cure.
