The Ruins are a band with punky grit and massive pop hooks. First formed in 2022 by a group of restless musicians unknown to each other, with only the need to create great music being their guiding light.

Drawing from hard experience, the band are a blended mix of an alternative sound, that is both rock/punk/pop in nature, and with strong emphasis on songwriting and storytelling – stories of loss, love, revenge, and the grubby mess that is aging. It’s like if Abba mated with Pulp, while Bowie put the kettle on.

Ruins are a natural fit for live performance; both sinewy and theatrical, showcasing their unique perspective – where every note is lived, earned and not just played.
