Fergusons release of their fourth single last month. Self-produced, the driving but delicate experimental-ballad ‘Girl from Margate’ gives us strong piano hooks and mesmerizing instrumentalism. 

Fergusons were born when frontman Diego Belmonte and drummer Ed Dolzan started playing as a duo, getting back together after 10 years. They first got to know each other when teenagers, playing the underground rock circuit in Brazil – where both are from. They immediately hooked up with Diego’s friend and talented bass player, James Dibble. Kelly was the last addition. Born in Malasya and raised in London, she lived in Malaysia, Singapore, and Switzerland before setting foot in London.
