About

Firekind are brothers Jas and Dan Morris and D Collings. We live, work and create our
music on the edge of Dartmoor in the South West of England. We got together 3 years
ago to mix soaring vocals, epic guitars and brutal, driving percussion in a bid to take
unashamed, uplifting, anthemic rock back to where it belongs. Everyone is invited to the
show.

Q Magazine voted our first single Desolate one of its top 5 tracks to download, with the
following review:- “Sounds Like: InMe on amphetamines – big guitars and percussion
lead by the irrepressible Jas Morris, Devon three-piece Firekind, who have supported the
likes of Feeder and Reef specialize in unforgettable rock anthems”

We have rocked with some great bands (Feeder, Texas, Reef, Ocean Colour Scene) and
played some great venues in the UK and Europe (02 Academy, Paradiso, Koko, Rock
City)

This month sees the release of our EP – ONE which along with our debut album was
recorded in Los Angeles and produced by Alain Johannes (Queens of the Stone Age,
Them Crooked Vultures, Soundgarden). The album is due for release early next year.

Come to one of our gigs and experience our music. We play our songs heart and soul, as
if our lives depended on it. Because they do.
