Flynn

About

Fresh, emerging singer-songwriter FLYNN hails from Vancouver, Canada, bringing a classy cocktail of soulful urban pop showcased by her contemporary writing style and stunning vocal tones, served with a vintage twist. Her sound has been described as a mix between Amy Winehouse, Pink and Jessie J, whilst her contemporary approach has also been informed by classic artists like Carole King and Etta James. Flynn has recently arrived on the London scene having completed her music studies at Sir Paul McCartney's Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA) and is currently collaborating with several noteworthy songwriters and producers.

Flame-haired Flynn writes and performs honest, bold and emotive songs from a personal perspective; chasing dreams, the loss of her father, the heady highs and heartbreaking lows of relationships and the typical experiences of a young woman finding her way in the world. Flynn reveals her deepest emotions whilst retaining her charmingly cheeky sense of fun and her sublime talent and tenacious work ethic have resulted in early vocal and writing success with several major record labels, both as featured vocalist and with songwriting credits and cuts.

Flynn’s songs resonate. Her ability to engage an audience is amplified by her exceptional musicality and vocal ability. With regular dates at various London venues, including a fabulous recent performance at the London Lifestyle Awards in front of a star-studded audience at Troxy, Flynn already has a number of notable crowd-captivating performances under her belt.
