Singer/songwriter based in London, originally from Birmingham, UK. Fern combines the genres of acoustic rock and folk to create deep, heartfelt and soulful music. Fern frequently performs as a singer songwriter and is always writing new material. Having recently completed her EP ‘Locked in Memory’ recorded at The Priory in Canwell and engineered and produced by Greg Chandler, Fern signed a Licensing and Distribution deal with Screamlite Records who are working with me on gaining exposure for my music.
Fern frequently receives airplay on a number of FM radio stations and internet radio stations, one of the most frequent being Garry Fosters ‘Unchained’ on 101.8 WCF FM, in the words of the Garry Foster “This is a lady with an immense amount of talent”. Fern has also performed on several live sessions e.g. 92.6FM Verlulam St Albans. Fern also supported Barney Morse-Browns (BBC Folk Award winner with his band ‘The Imagined Village’s, he has also worked with Birdy, BBC 4, BBC 2) ‘Duotone’ at The Firestation of Arts and Culture in Windsor, Fern also supported solo fingerpicking guitarist Pete Kent this July (Ibanez, Revolver Records) as well as performing at the ‘Godviva’ festival this July along with ‘The Stranglers’, ‘The Darkness’, ‘Example’ and many more great acts. Recently she also supported Jake Goshings ‘The Shantics’ this August. Fern frequently perform at shows and festivals around the UK and beyond.
