London-based synth rock band Goldstag blend raw 2000s rock with 80s pop, to create indie music you can move to. Their unique sound comes from layering in synths to create that Breakfast Club dance energy, topped off with a gritty guitar lead. Rhythmic influences include funk artists like Nile Rodgers, but what keeps the audience on their feet is magnetic frontman, Riley, who makes it impossible to resist the dancefloor.
Last year, the 4-piece headlined at Camden Assembly and supported Toploader at the O2 Academy Islington. This year, they were in the running to play the Isle of Wight Festival as semi-finalists in the New Blood competition.
