Gumshoe, the alias of solo artist, performer, and producer Philip Hampson whose unique style conjures modern-retro elements with shades of new-wave psychedelia to help form a captivating neo-sonic potion. What sets Gumshoe apart from others is Philip Hampson’s unique approach to music-making. Based remotely in the Lake District, he works on writing and self-producing, all his own music, and performing all of the instruments. This creates an atmospheric backdrop that perfectly complements his introspective lyrics.
