Hemes is an up-and-coming Middle eastern artist based in South Wales, her musical style stems from a combination of commercial pop tones mixed with indie and R&B melodies. Her debut EP “Matters of the mind” is sonically diverse, ranging from bubbly electric guitar lead songs in “Headache” and “Faking a smile” to more mellow, cinematic and RnB inspired tracks in “Calm” and ” Something good”. Hemes has just released her first single of 2023 ‘Home’ which has already gained support from BBC Introducing, and BBC Radio Wales, currently on Home is on the BBC Radio Wales A-list for the second week running. Hemes is currently working in the studio on completing her second EP (due end of 2023).
