About

Born in Harrogate, North Yorkshire in 1987, I fell under the influence of bands such as Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, The Small Faces and the Rolling Stones from a very early age. I’m the only girl out of six brothers and was raised and educated on rock and roll, soul, country, blues and everything in between. I spent my adolescence dabbling in my own song writing and producing a couple of EPs.
In 2012 after finishing school and graduating from Leeds University with honors in Law, I started writing songs for my debut album “Sparkle & Fade”. In 2013 I shot my first music video for my single “Love Ain’t Enough”.
In 2014 BBC Introducing invited me to do a live session. My track “Shame on You” was selected by BBC Introducing and aired on BBC Radio 2 by Whispering Bob Harris. In 2016 BBC Introducing chose my track “Heartbreaker” as their “Record of the Week” and Whispering Bob Harris invited me to record the first Under The Apple Tree session live at Warehouse Recording Co in Harrogate and later that year I was invited over to Nashville by 5 time Grammy Award winning producer Ray Kennedy to record my EP “The Nashville Sessions”.
In 2017 I played various gigs including FSA Fest & Blackthorn Fest. In 2018 my EP “The Nashville Sessions” went straight in at Number 1 in the UK Itunes Country Charts. In February 2019 my single “Let It Out” went straight in at Number 1 in the UK Itunes Country Charts. In March 2019 I played C2C Festival at 02 London.
