Hailing from Liverpool, Holy Joe had to be influenced the bands of the city.
Holy Joe has already been compared to Bob Dylan, The Beatles, The La’s, Jake Bugg and The Lightning Seeds.

Going back to acoustic guitar and harmonica roots Holy Joe has begun releasing singles on Bancamp such as the eponymous “Holy Joe” and “Money Can’t Buy Me Love.”

They’re short, sweet, catchy songs with dark lyrics. I’ve been writing from my own experiences and it seems to have struck a chord with audiences – maybe their lives have been as bad as mine!

The next step has been helped by Airplay from radio stations such as Good Music Radio who seem to have the song “Holy Joe” on permanent repeat!
