INKA is a singer-songwriter, born and bred on the east coast of Scotland. Her voice still harbours a Canadian twang after living in Toronto last year, where she spent a year working in the music industry and gigging for events such as the international festival, Canadian Music Week.
Wielding a tongue-in-cheek sense of humour, INKA shares songs that are melodic, original and unashamedly catchy — a catalogue of indie-pop earworms that linger long after you’ve last heard her. You can hear a myriad of influences through her music: ranging from Cyndi Lauper to Steely Dan, Bowie to Bjork. She plans on releasing her debut EP this summer.
