Insula are a band hailing from Barrow in Furness Cumbria.playing indie pop rock music . The band is fronted by guitarist and songwriter Darryl waite smashing out songs with driven guitars and stomping beats. The sound is created by the two other guitarists in the line up cool hand Luke and Jake the snake. Whilst swapping lead guitar duties is a pleasure to watch. Whilst the engine room is created by the drummer “Doco” and alongside him is Ross Taylor on bass guitar pumping fat bass lines that creates a sound similar to the tones of the clash and a ting of eighties style rock guitar solos in the mix.creating there own style music with a twist of lemon 🍋
