Jam Shiddies started when Doug Sure and Marcos coincide in the same hostel in Sydney while doing a work-and-travel visa. Doug originally from south-east London and Marcos, from Argentina, shared the same passion for music and started writing original material from the get-go. After their visas ran out, they both return to London and worked on their first album, ‘Southern Isolation’ which included their first single ‘Long Gone’. In 2012 they took a break from the band and focused on their solo proyects. Doug worked on a solo EP that took him to the semi-final of “The Voice UK”. In 2020 they decided to give Jam Shiddies another shot, and they’re working on a new album soon to be released.
