Jamie Knox is a singer and songwriter based in Brighton, UK. After supporting Johnny Flynn in 2011, Knox decided to become a full time musician. Knox moved from his native South London to study music in Brighton where he started working with musicians and songwriters to develop his professional career. Jamie Knox has already taken great strides as an independent artist, having sold out major London music venues including Water Rats, The Troubadour and The Bedford. He also performed at the 2013 Beach Break Live Festival (along with several UK major label artists).
The debut EP 'Pieces' released in April, 2013 combines elements of the uplifting energetic with the soul of the brooding melancholic. Drawing Influences from a variety of genres and artists such as Ben Howard, Beirut, Bombay Bicycle Club and Interpol.
