South East London born Jas Ratchford found her musical feet posting original songs and covers from her childhood bedroom, learning to produce harmony-laden and humorous folk-pop songs inspired by the likes of dodie, Corinne Bailey Rae, Laura Marling and the Staves.
Jas’s latest project ‘Big Parade’ was recorded from an Airbnb living room in (almost) one take, the first single ‘Accidentally’ amassing over 30,000 streams in its first month. Jas writes candidly about casual sex, the horrors of the London job market and her dislike of the noisy northern line.
Jas is a terrible driver and can often be found oversharing after a single glass of wine.
