23-year-old, 2020 BBC Hotlisted rap artist, JAYO started his music venture in 2012. Growing up in a household where his father was an established music journalist, music became a dominant part of his upbringing. He writes, performs and has recently started producing his own music. Inspired by the likes of Kanye West,  Kendrick Lamar, Bon Iver and grime artists such as Chip, Skepta and Yungen. JAYO embodies his wide taste of music, showcasing his versatility as an artist.

He always brings a twist of style and charisma to his lyrics but most evidently to his live performances, keeping the crowd on their toes and in awe of his effortless delivery. – definitely one to watch!
