Jess Goyder
About
"This, I realised, was the best thing I’d seen in three days of Glastonbury. Her name, I discovered later, was Jess Goyder……This woman is special."
Johnny Black, Mojo/Blender
"The most extraordinary voice I've heard in years,"
Jean Roussel, producer, 11 Cat Stevens albums, Bob MarleyThe Police
With a voice that soars effortlessly into a crystal-clear falsetto, Jess Goyder writes and performs elegant and soulful songs for piano and guitar.
Jess grew up in India, Ethiopia and the UK and her wanderlust continues to inspire much of her writing, from playing her way solo around Sydney to tours of South America and Cuba.
She has appeared on stages of all shapes and sizes, from a year paying her Barcelona rent as a singing angel street statue, to major festivals including Glastonbury and the main stage at Cornbury after Jools Holland. Based in London, she continues to play live regularly, often with the cellist and singer Emma Butterworth. In 2012 she performed a specially composed piece for over 1200 people as part of the 12.12.12 One World Celebration.
With musical adventures behind her that many artists will only ever dream of, Jess is about to embark on a crowd funded debut album.
