Jupita is the musical project of Julia Morris, an artist from Auckland, New Zealand who is based in London.

Jupita makes indie pop from the heart, with nostalgic nods to the early 2000’s. She transforms guitar chords, along with words gathered over the week in her phone’s Notes app, into pop hooks that carry a touch of melancholy. Her hyper personal lyrics play with themes of indecisiveness and confusion but simpl says “it’s a break up EP through and through.”

She released her debut EP ‘Want You Back’ in 2023, receiving positive press from the likes of Rolling Stone and The New Zealand Herald, and Spotify playlist adds like New Music Friday and Pop N Fresh.

Jupita had big plans for 2024.
