Justin O’Sullivan is a 23 year old singer songwriter from South London who has been performing in an array of venues across London and recording his own material for the past year. Acts such as Jamie T, Arctic Monkeys and Oasis are powerful influences to Justin as he has honed his own acoustic indie sound; indeed his attachment to their music is evident in his song writing. However, despite being inspired by such artists, Justin’s growing catalogue of songs, characterised by his aggressive guitar riffs and his honest, topical lyrics are very much a product of his own musical identity, which ultimately make his songs a truly refreshing addition to acoustic indie music. Justin’s live performances are attracting increasing attention, and he has a number of upcoming gigs scheduled in London over the coming months. His rousing performances incorporate a number of his own songs, with highlights including the haunting, nostalgic vocals of ‘Did You Ever’, his furiously passionate renditions of ‘How Does It Feel?’ as well as a crowd favourite and the politically charged ‘You’ll Never Know’; a powerful song of armed occupation and struggle.
