Originally from LA, Katy Rose signed with V2 Records at thirteen, and her music has featured on the soundtracks of Grey’s Anatomy, One Tree Hill, Dawson’s Creek, Thirteen, Agent Cody Banks, and Mean Girls, where her bestselling record ‘Overdrive’ was the title track. After the world tour for her first album, Because I Can, where she toured with The Cardigans, Liz Phair and The Calling, ‘Overdrive’ hit the Top 10 lists in France, Switzerland and South Africa, staying at #1 in Japan for several weeks. The single made the Top 20 Video Countdown on both MTV and TRL, where Katy made numerous appearances, and Katy went on to play shows with Avril Lavigne, N.E.R.D. and Kanye West.
