KNDÉ

About

KNDÉ is an exciting new soul singer-songwriter from London, who is not afraid to fuse acoustic and modern elements in her sound.
Her style is influenced by a broad spectrum of music she was listening while growing up; from Soul, Pop, R’n’B and Hip Hop to Jazz, Blues and Folk.
It wasn’t long after discovering the artist Lauryn Hill that KNDÉ knew she wanted to sing professionally.

It wasn’t until performing and recording with Stephen Large a renowned session keyboard player, composer, arranger, and long term member of UK band Squeeze, KNDÉ was inspired to take a more serious approach in songwriting. This resulted in KNDÉ being a long time favourite with BBC Introducing, and has been featured on both the Ian Lee, Nesta McGregor and Edward Adoo radio shows.

KNDÉ’s unmistakeable vocals came to the attention of Tony Award and 3 times Grammy nominee Melba Moore’s promoters, who asked her to perform for Ms Moore.

A recent review described KNDÉ’s voice as “Dripping with melancholy….. ” and as..”containing the raw unabashed ingredients of the blues”.
KNDÉ’s latest release ‘Just Friends’ is the first single off her upcoming EP.
