Upbeat, chaotic and passionate about life Lawrence J-P fell in love with music the moment he heard it. Having spent the majority of his life studying classical cello at RWCMD, he took the cello out of the orchestra and into the world of pop.

He started out writing songs as a teenager about foods such as Curry Sauce and FAB lollies. When it came to light that all of his friends knew all the lyrics and would unironically put them on at parties he started to branch out from joke songs and start writing about himself and life experiences. He spent time doing workshops with Abel Selaocoe and was inspired realising the cello is not confined to the classical world but can be used however you want!
