A songwriter since his teens, Jerwood describes his first release ‘To New York’ as “a big heartbroken fantasy-daydream about a long-distance relationship”.

His follow-up single ‘Fire Like You’ juxtaposes the neon-lit romanticism of falling in ‘love’ with the reality of someone that falls in love both frequently and easily.

“It always feels so real and unique when you realise you like somebody, but Fire Like You speaks to the repetitive and predictable nature of us as humans and how we can be so oblivious to our own patterns.”
