Americana singer songwriter Lou Kyme grew up playing music with her family’s band, the Okeh Wranglers. Dad, Pete brought his family up surrounded by the sounds of country and rockabilly and encouraged his family to perform.
The band’s output was prolific building a reputation with a unique sound and high musicianship. They culminated their careers with a gig at Austin, Texas’s famous Continental Club.
Twenty years on, Lou took a trip back to the Continental Club, and came upon Chuck Prophet and the Mission Express. The stars aligned, and the band invited Lou to record ‘What’s The Worst that Can Happen’ in San Francisco. Released in 2020, Lou is now supporting the album with her UK band.
