Lucy Mair

About

Taking influence from Amy Winehouse, Carole King and Billie Holiday, Lucy Mair is a singer songwriter currently based in South East London. Her songs combine jazz-influenced pop melodies with thoughtful and heartfelt lyrics. She plays the keyboard, has a guitarist and uses a loop pedal when performing live, to build up driving rhythms with lush and complex vocal harmonies.

She has played at venues such as The Ritzy, Proud Camden and The Garage and has supported Tom Walker as part of his 2017 tour and Keir as part of his April 2018 tour. She has received a ton of support from BBC Introducing, inviting Lucy to perform at Standon Calling, Truck Festival and their own showcases.

Her latest single ‘Being Pretty Was Fun’ received critical acclaim from Clash, It’s All Indie, On The Record, Vents Magazine and BBC Introducing.
