Lucy Whittaker’s punchy Electro Pop sound, teamed with her energetic performances are fast generating her a reputation as ‘one to watch’ with a strong and rapidly increasing fanbase. Supported by BBC Radio 1 as Introducing Track of the Week, her release ‘I’m Not Ever Coming Back Again’ charted at #12 in the UK Viral 50 chart, and gained international radioplay. 2017 was a phenomenal year for Whittaker – supporting Clean Bandit, Craig David, Scott Mills, and Anne Marie, whilst simultaneously releasing her debut EP and breaking #1 on the Hype Machine Popular on Twitter Charts. Whittaker’s ‘proper Pop’ (Clara Amfo), has taken the UK Pride scene by storm, as she has performed at major Pride events including Manchester, Leeds, and Sheffield. Labelled ‘a self-propelled Pop sensation’ by CLASH Magazine, Whittaker is delighted to be nominated for Best Record 2018 and Best Female 2018 by the Unsigned Music Awards.
