Mads Dunscombe

About

Mads Dunscombe, previously known as ‘Mädchen’, is a Swiss-British singer-songwriter, currently based in London.

Her first album ‘Mouse’ – a folk–punk album about trauma and survival—was never officially released but can be found on YouTube.

Since moving to London, Mads has performed her newer material at the Vault Festival and beloved underground spaces such as the Steamship.

Writing songs both in Swiss-German and English, Mads is deeply inspired by timeless jazz and folk icons such as Eva Cassidy, Joni Mitchell and Joan Baez, as well as by her favourite bands, Radiohead and the Mountain Goats.

You can listen to Mads’ first official debut album ‘The Fig Tree’ on all streaming platforms.
