Matted are one of the UK’s most exciting new rock bands, blending heavy riffs with emotional depth and sonic experimentation. Since their debut in 2024, the five-piece has built momentum – playing Download Festival, Call of the Wild, Planet Rockstock, and supporting Crashface, Armored Saint, and Von Hertzen Brothers, alongside sold-out headline shows in London and Brighton. Their first releases have earned airplay on BBC Introducing and Kerrang! Radio, with the latter naming them finalists in their ‘The Deal’ competition. Matted’s music draws on a rich mix of influences from AC/DC to Nine Inch Nails and Beastie Boys – delivering rock that’s raw, melodic, and uniquely their own.
