Matthew Gordon Price is an alternative folk musician whom provides an emotional narrative to which many can relate. His sound has been compared to artists such as Damien Rice, Marcus Mumford and Glenn Hansard. His debut E.P 'The Bird & The Tree', which was released on January 31st 2016 and reached the top 100 on the ‘Amazon Download Popular Chart’. 2016 was a life changing year for Matthew, as he supported the likes of Beardyman, Phat Bollard and found himself on the same line-up as Craig David and Benjamin Francis Leftwich. Matthew also performed a BBC Introducing ‘Live In Session’ (Devon). 2017 has been a growing period for Matthew’s music with the introduction of a full backing band which has performed on the main stage at ‘Royal William Yard Festival’ supporting the likes of Sound Of The Sirens and Seth Lakeman Matthew is set to release a new EP in 2018, which will include tracks such as ‘Vixen Queen’, ‘Sweet As Stone’, ‘Numb’ and ‘Rivalry’.
