MAY ROSA BIOGRAPHY

“You know what,I think this could be massive, too big for Super World Indie Tunes perhaps.” – Super World Indie Tunes

“Her debut single ‘Dancing In The Debris’ is an assured and sonically-rich debut single. It’s euphoric track delves into a sound that encompasses reverb-percussion, synthesizer atmosphere, sharp guitar lines and cello.” – Nialler9

May Rosa is the alt-pop singer-songwriter of your dreams. Utilising synthesizers, strings and haunting Kate-Bush-esque vocals, she draws you into her world with addictively hypnotizing songs. Belfast born but living in London, May Rosa burst onto the scene with her debut ‘Dancing in the Debris’ last year. Since then she has been writing, recording and honing her sound, the product of which is her recent EP release ‘Waxwork Sweetheart’. May Rosa has been played on radio stations across Ireland, including BBC Introducing Ulster (Across The Line), BBC Radio Foyle and Dublin City FM. Summer 2019 has much in store; from performance art videos, to the next single ‘Summer’, to the reveal of her Spellbinding live show, so stay tuned to May Rosa to hear more from her deliciously dark world.

Praise for Waxwork Sweetheart
