With music described as 'Haunting' and 'Passionate', Michael Reeve is a Leeds and Lincolnshire based singer songwriter whose songs range from stripped back intimate acoustic sounds to large layered intense tracks. Influenced from a wide selection of music ranging from the honest song writing styles of Ryan Adams and Bob Dylan to the larger soundscapes of Radiohead and Bon Iver.

Having recently just completed a UK tour, he played his latest EP ‘Unfold’ to crowds across the country with notable performance dates at ‘The Great Escape’ festival and this years ‘Tramlines’ festival. Michael has received airplay from BBC 6 Music as well as playing live numerous times on BBC Radio Lincolnshire’s ‘The afternoon show’ and ‘The Peter Levy Show’. Featured artist on BBC Introducing, Best of British Unsigned and Sine FM as well as receiving many local, regional and online radio plays worldwide with both EP’s. Selected in the top 20 of Acoustic Magazine’s Singer Songwriter competition to find the best unsigned songwriter in the UK where he played at the live finals to reach the Top 5 of the competition out of 1000’s.

Michael has supported ‘Young Rebel Set’ twice on their last two European tour’s, one of them being at Leeds venue ‘The Cockpit’ where he recently performed in the final stages of the Future sound competition to play at Leeds and Reading Festival 2013. As well as this, Michael was through to the voting stages for MTV Brand New Unsigned 2013 and was nominated and placed in the Top 5 of the Online Music Awards as well as the MRU Awards for 'Best UK Act'. Michael has been invited to support artists such as ‘Stu Larsen’, ‘Stefan Melborne’, ‘Frank Hamilton’ and ‘James Walsh’ of Starsailor on his tour not to mention the talented ‘Nadine Shah’ during her European tour.
