Midnight Convoy are a 3 piece alternative rock band from Birmingham, Uk. We have been suggested that our sound is similar to other UK rock bands such as Hundred Reasons, Reuben and InMe.
The band consist of:

The band, which formed in the early months of 12, have currently self released 2 E.Ps’; both of which have been marketed online on a ‘pay what you want’ scheme. The bands more recent EP ‘We Are All Ticking Time Bombs’ was recorded and released through 2142 Records. Both of the E.Ps’ can be heard and downloaded here:

We try to get our name out by giving a hard hitting and energetic live performance at every gig. In addition we try to bring more to a show than just a traditional 3 piece with guitar, drums and bass. We try to add in extra percussion, electronic elements, keys/synth and drum sample parts. Trying to add all this into a show makes a live performance very hard work but the sound we achieve is very rewarding and the further we progress, the more we are adding and changing.

With over 24 years live performance experience between the 3 members of Midnight Convoy we know how much work it takes to become a master of the craft; and although we have so much experience we are always trying to progress; trying to add in something new. We don’t like being constricted by the conventions of traditional live music and although this has gotten us to where we are now, we like to push boundaries.
When Midnight Convoy started in the beginning of 2012 Dom and Chris weren’t just interested in playing conventional rock anymore. After touring up and down the country with their old outfit Jackpike Dom and Chris were looking for something new, something different…
They drafted in drummer Jack who brought something new to the band (and not just his amazingly long hair!). Jack showed a passion for complex time signatures and love of playing rock music so combined with Dom’s heavy guitar riffs and Chris’s walking bass lines Midnight Convoy was born. Adding years of experience into an already existing dynamic, Midnight Convoy have tried to push boundaries of how much a three piece band can do. Looking into electronic elements and additional percussion we have found a passion for creating a different sound; not always something new, but something different to what we hear being played on the radio; and we hope you’ll agree.
