MOAK is a London based Spoken Word artist best known for his raw, captivating and powerful pieces. Coalescing influences of battle rap, hip-hop and contemporary performance poetry – Moak beguiles listeners with witty wordplay and lyricism. His material covers various themes through his lens as a young black male. Since picking up the pen in 2013, MOAK has grown from strength to strength in his craft which was reflected in 2018 when he was nominated for Best Poet of the Year at the UK Entertainment Awards. In 2019 he released his debut EP ‘This is Us’ gaining radio interest from BBC 6 Music and establishing himself as a regular performer at Sofar Sounds.
