Molly Martian is a musician, poet and comedian raised in Manchester but now resident in south east London. She writes catchy, quotidian pop songs, makes lo-fi recordings of them, and sometimes even performs them for audiences.
Since 2016, she has released four short collections of recordings – ‘Feelings Are Hard But Your Hair Looks Amazing’, ‘…and the Martians’, ‘My Wings Are Like a Shield of Steel’, and ‘Home Wasn’t Built in a Day’. All four records feature songs with verses and choruses, but only one features a glockenspiel.
