Montauk are the latest indie/alternative rock band to come out of London. Formed through unlikely connections and simply being in the right place at the right time, the band united on a shared obsession for songwriting and electric live performance. Now after nine months of developing their sound and forming a real synergy between them, the five members are ready to build momentum through London’s brilliant grassroots circuit having headlined the Fiddler’s Elbow and Dublin Castle earlier this year. Montauk is Shanuk (vocals), Tom (guitar + vocals), Taylor (guitar), Max (bass) and Harry (drums).
