Montrell are Jonny (vocal, guitars) Sam (bass), Mikey (lead guitar) and Alex (drums).

The English quartet cut their teeth on DIY tours in Germany, Holland, UK and Venice. Their confessional lyrics sit on top of washy and increasingly rugged guitar arrangements.

In 2021, Sir Elton John sang some praise for their single ‘Simpler in the Dark’ on his Rocket Hour show. 
 The guys released the ‘Some Kind of Love’ EP to a sold out audience at Colours in Hoxton Square at the end of 2022 and this year Montrell tour France and Italy in May, after Brighton’s Great Escape festival.
