Moon

About

Moon is a singer songwriter who writes heartfelt, deeply personal songs that get straight to the soul and opens our hearts.
Using her Irish heritage, her loving family and her life experiences growing up in London, she writes songs that everyone can relate to.

Moon began writing songs from a young age, and at 18, she started creating music with the likes of Nico Ramsden, Andy Newmark and Sara Eker, before creating her debut album in 2014 alongside producer Mick Lister. “The Tree That Held The Sky” was recorded in ‘Sonic One studio’ in Llanelli, Wales, and was mastered at Abbey Road Studios in London.

In January 2015, Moon’s track “The Start Of Something New” received air play on BBC Radio 2 on The Dermot O’Leary Show. Since her radio play, Moon has had a sync for her track “I Am That I Am”, in the American thriller film, “Money”, directed by Martín Rosete. She then went on to release her debut single and music video for “Worn Down Heels” in November 2016.

Moon has since been featured twice on BBC London Introducing with Gary Crowley with her track “Emerald”.
Her debut album, “The Tree That Held The Sky”, is soon to be released.
