MOTHERCANYOUHEARME are a female duo of best friends from London. They combine heartfelt lyrics with trashy guitars and garage rock-type drums to create a unique mix of melodic punk, indie and alternative rock.
Despite there being only two of them, the girls have a very big live sound as they use extra amps and effects pedals to give the illusion of having more than just the one guitar, meaning they can match the presence of a band with twice as many members.
They write and record all of their music from home as they “like to be involved in the whole process of creating a song” and are part of the DIY punk community, meaning they self release their music, and create all of their own artwork, music and recordings.
