Born in the USA but raised in Bristol by South African and German parents, singer/songwriter Allegra is an international girl, which is reflected in her music and influences. She grew up listening to a huge range of music – from the likes of Bruce Springsteen to Aretha Franklin – interspersed with classical music, as she learned to play the cello to a high standard and taught herself piano. However, the music she focuses her own sound on, trends to the pop side, mixed with soul, blues and hip-hop. Her biggest influences are Aretha Franklin, Alicia Keys, Pink, George Michael, Lauryn Hill and Etta James, to name a few. Allegra has recently completed a Maths degree at UCL University. Upon completion, she got back in the studio with production team DO Music to create a sound she's proud to present to the world.
