Mitchell Kersley is a 20 year old singer/songwriter based in South West London. He grew up in the south of England but moved up to London at the age of 19 to pursue his music career. Mitchell is also currently studying the Creative musicianship degree at BIMM London University, following in the footsteps of the likes of James Bay and Tom Odell.

Mitchell predominantly writes catchy acoustic pop songs featuring his guitar and vocals with a soulful, unique tone. He uses a range of poetic devices and imagery in his lyrics, to really build a story and try to grip you emotionally.  He also drifts between writing in a range of genres and using different instruments, pulling inspiration from artists like Led Zeppelin, Elvis Presley, Jack Johnson, Frank Sinatra, Ed Sheeran, Elton John, Brad Paisley and many more; really stretching the variety of songs he produces.

With a large collection of original material, he is currently working on releasing his first EP and subsequently his first album. Mitchell has played a range of venues in and around London and also picked up a couple of local radio plays and interviews. He is a determined and ambitious young man who hopes to push his career forward by doing what he loves. His passion and enjoyment of music is easy to see when listening to him perform.
