NEVEDYA 

She found her name -or more accurately her name found her- while she was meditating.

It means « Offering to the Gods » in Sanskrit.

This London based french raised caribbean artist’s sense of performance appeared at a young age.She's been singing and dancing for as far as she can remember and started writing and composing at the age of 12.

Each second sees her body and mind run through by a never ending flow of intertwined words,beats,sensations,emotions and words again leaving no clue about which triggered which.

Influenced by artists as different as Björk, Whitney Houston, James Blake and the Dead Weather she doesn't want to limit herself as for where to stand, she appreciates the surprise.

But don't mistake diversification for indecision.

After years of BVing in front of thousands for famous French and international artists (Ed sheeran, Shy’m etc…) , lead singing on the prime time set of the French version of «Strictly come dancing» , and producing her own tracks, she knows very well where she's going.

Her 1st EP named MIOSIS, which she wrote and co-produced with french hip hop influenced producer David Videau is a cinematographic piece where seductive bass lines meet with edgy trip-hop/rock beats along with a sensual lyrical rocky voice.Each track bears its fair amount of darkness and light.

John Davis , mastering engineer for Led Zeppelin, Lana del rey, Tricky and FKA twigs, to name a few, said about the title track of her EP that it's so good it makes him want to "eat his own hand »…:)
