Blake has just finished recording his first LP, “All The Ways I Could Tell You It’s Raining”, which has been a project two years in the making. It will be released in the early autumn. The album was recorded in various bedrooms across the country with a couple of mics and a collection of other constantly-breaking gear – but you won’t be able to tell. This performance is one of the first of this solo material, which he has begun to play both in London and Manchester. It is an example of the songs in their purest form, without the experimental production and instrumentation of the recording. Voice, guitar and piano – just as they were written.
