Panthalassa is the pseudonym of artist Tom Griffin, originally from and currently based in Liverpool, has previously spent years over in Leeds. Since 2020, this solo studio project explores genres from Chillwave to Nu-Disco, Techno to Melodic house. Inspired by the likes of artists such as Kaytranada, Toro y Moi, Jungle as well as the Soulection and Ninja Tune Record labels, this combination of influences can be heard in such previous releases as 2021’s ‘Petrichor Pt. 1’ EP and 2020’s single ‘Loops’. Having been previously played on BBC Introducing West Yorkshire and stations such as Melodic Distraction and LCR Radio.
