Biography

From the moment Paul heard the opening chords and lyrics for Bob Dylan’s “Dont Think Twice It’s Alright” he knew he wanted to write songs.

Growing up in East and North London, Paul was heavily influenced with the sound of the streets and the people that walked along them, and listening to the music that flew out from speakers from the radios of parked cars and terreced house windows, had a profound affect on Paul.

“Music to me was more than just a juvenile outlet, it was a passion, an art form, a feeling, a statement… and when done properly has the overwhelming power to move and inspire people. There is no better feeling than when someone you have never met before can connect with a song you have created, its fantastic!”.

Within the fabric of pauls well crafted songs you can hear subtle influences from Artists such as Ryan Adams, Ray Lamontagne, and Nick Drake.

There is no question about it, Paul has an incredible ability to capture the attention of a whole room when he plays. When you see Paul play live, with his full band, or just solo with his acoustic guitar and harmonica, it’s clear that he oozes with musical talent and ability. His voice is powerful and soulful, and I can promise you, it will blow you away.

Paul is currently becoming a prolific singer songwriter on the london music scene, playing to crowds in some of Londons most prestigous venues, Paul Adams is definitely a name to look out for.
