Pelican Rapids is the alias of 25 year-old singer-songwriter John Chisham. John grew up in Cambridge and currently lives in North London. Scribbling constantly since 2014, John cut his own hair and teeth gigging and playing in bands up and down the country. His illicit indie daydreams fuel his shaggy melodic folk rock. Taking his pseudonym from a small town in Minnesota that he’s never been to, Pelican Rapids provides introverted escapades for like minded in-ear humanoids.
