Influences include Parquet Courts, Ty Segall, Pixies, Fat White Family, Jimi Hendrix, Velvet Underground and Grateful Dead.

Prangin’ Mantis met while living in the Harringay warehouse district near Finsbury Park in North London and formed in summer 2019 after jamming together around the warehouses and at New River Studios. They completed a full length L.P at Resident Studios in summer 2022 and released debut single “Kick Off”. The L.P release date is set for Autumn 2023 after upcoming single releases including “King Dave”, released 31/03.
