Red Town’s sound is unique. The London band draws influences from the last 6 decades, creating a sound that can’t be pigeonholed. Influences range from Jefferson Airplane and Janis Joplin to Prince, David Bowie to Arctic Monkeys, via Nile Rodgers and Curtis Mayfield. With the soulful vocals of Jodie Green, & great harmonies, the music is melodic with a hard edge. It’s rock, but with hints of funk, psychedelia, soul and jazz. Gigging on the London scene for the last 8 years, Red Town have an EP and 7 singles under their belts. Their new album “The Streets Will Sing” was released last October. Expect songs from the album, a couple of new songs, & maybe a cover to get the crowd on their feet!
