Riya Mayilvahanan is an emerging independent artist, singer-songwriter and performer based in Birmingham. Formally trained in music from the age of seven, her sound draws from Indian classical music, Musical Theatre and R&B/Soul. A dynamic vocalist and dancer, Riya blends movement, choreography and storytelling into her performances. As she develops her own sound, she creates music that explores joy, happiness and introspection, while carrying meaningful messages. Her aim is to make music that connects, inspires and leaves listeners feeling something.
